Even though it's 40 degrees and raining, summer will be here faster than you know. Wasn't it 75 degrees just yesterday?
We're excited for another summer of fun as we all get ready for the 4-miler. We'll be posting details and links as they become available.
Here are some upcoming events:
March 31 brings the Charlottesville 10-miler in Downtown C-ville. If you're going to be in Richmond that day, check out the Monument Ave 10k. If you're not running, please come out and cheer on your pals in either race. Believe me, it really does give a weary runner a lift to have people cheering along the way.
April 21st is the Charlottesville Marathon and Half-Marathon. They start and finish downtown near Lee Park and the courses go out into Albemarle county. It's a very pretty course, but very challenging as well.
May 12 is the Bright Stars 5k. That's a really fun race to do and it's for a good cause.
I hope to see you out at some of these events. If we don't see you then, we'll see you this June.
Happy Running!
