Because of the early start time, there won't be a guest speaker, so we should be hitting the road pretty quickly.
Also, be aware of road etiquette.
- Stay on the sidewalk
- Run single file when you come upon people heading the opposite direction
- Call out "on your left" when you come up on slower traffic
- ALWAYS STOP AT INTERSECTIONS!
- Look both ways before you cross the street
Remember, it's early and some motorists are not paying attention.

6:30 huh? I suppose you didn't mean this as a cruel joke, right?
Sorry, no joke. We have to be off the track early, so we have to hit the road early.
Look at it this way, you'll get to City Market early to get the freshest produce. I'm trying to put a positive spin on it for you.
For those of us who will not make a 6:30 a.m. run on Saturday, do you all know of a decent alternative 2-mile route that you could recommend?
You can exit the track, go left on to Alderman, then left on to Massie. Go all the way down the hill to the end of the parking lot and back.
Or
Leave the track, take a right, go straight up Alderman to the stadium. Turn around at the corner between the aquatic center and the stadi.
