It's very important to get rest this week and keep hydrating. Stay off your feet as much as you can and don't go for any long runs or walks.
As for race day:
- Carpool if you can. And don't stop to drop anyone off once you get to Foxfield.
- Get there early. The gate opens at 6:30 and you really don't want to rush around to get to the start line.
- Make your first half mile your warm-up and make sure that first mile is your slowest.
- Savor the moment and have fun!
